The sales of Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile Company Ltd reached 550,000 units in 2013. As of today, cumulative sales of 3.3 million vehicles have been completed. The annual sale of 2014 is expected to surpass 700,000 units.
Since the launch of first model in 2004, Dongfeng Peugeot has reached cumulative sales of 1,300,000 vehicles in China. Last year, the annual sales reached 270,000 units. Dongfeng Peugeot has ranked respectively the 1st and the 5th in J. D. Power CSI After-Sale and Sale ranking, and becomes one of the most improved automobile brands in China now.
In 2013, the sales of Dongfeng Citroen hit an all-time record of 280,000 units, a year-on-year growth of 25%. J.D.POWER research shows Dongfeng Citroen becomes the only one brand in sale and after-sale among the top three automotive brands. By the end of 2013, the amount of Dongfeng Citroen 4S Stores has reached 439 in 287 prefecture-level cities across the country, with coverage of 83%.
Benefiting from the application of E-Power strategy’s dynamic process, DPCA will fix 1.2THP and 1.8THP engine, the full realization of “T major” in the near future, besides the existing 1.6L CVVT, 1.6THP advanced engines and STT technology of automatic start and stop. In addition, the Hybrid Air system developed by PSA Group can reduce vehicle fuel consumption by 35% on comprehensive road conditions. It is also expected to be introduced into the Chinese market.
On the product level, the latest EMP2 platform of PSA will provide a guarantee for DPCA’s future car introduction.
In addition to the power of technology and product planning, Dongfeng Peugeot 408, Dongfeng Peugeot 508 of Roland Garros Limited Edition, Dongfeng Citroen C5, C4L, the new C-Quatre will assemble intelligent traffic system in the second half of 2014 and achieve intelligent vehicle management with loud technology.
Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile Company Ltd ( hereinafter called “DPCA”) is an automobile producing enterprise established by Dongfeng Motor Corporation and PSA Peugeot Citroen (France) in May,1992. Till now, DPCA has about 15,000 staffers. DPCA adopts the operation mode of “One company, two Brands” and owns Dongfeng Citroen and Dongfeng Peugeot. Power sales and after-sales CSI rankings.
